Brainboxes’ PCI Express cards create real COM ports within Windows.

This means that they will work with all applications.

PCI Express is the next generation of connectivity standard within PCs. It is based

on the current PCI bus, but is faster and requires less power. PCI Express (PCIe)

slots are gradually replacing PCI slots within desktop PCs and servers and it is

estimated PCIe slots will have replaced PCI in the majority of PCs by late 2009.

By providing the PX range Brainboxes has ensured a smooth transition for

customers from one technology to the next.
